If I can schedule a private service for a bit more than cab or Uber for lengthy journeys (45 minutes or an hour), I’m going to do that. The only disadvantage is that generally we must wait till the motorist pays for a car space and gets his car. But at the airport it’s good to have someone waiting for you to know that they’ll have the correct car, and you’ll know the fee in advance.

The second advantage of privately held transportation is that when booking you can usually pay online, so you don’t have to find an ATM right on arrival. Uber/Lyft is the same.
