FACEBOOK BUSINESS PAGE OR FACEBOOK PROFILE; WHICH OPTION IS BETTER?

The world has gone digital, and every top business is maximizing the benefits that come with it. Some people that use the platform are not getting the right results because of some misconceptions leading to wrong actions. Also, it is important to say that you do not have to be tech-savvy to be a beneficiary. All you need is basic knowledge about some little tricks like the focus of this content.

Do you know about Facebook?

The answer for many would be yes because of famous the platform has grown. Individuals and businesses have depended on the platform to market their brands to the world as they connect with their customers. However, there is a common misconception many people may have about using Facebook for their business – a Facebook business page or a Facebook profile?

Why a Facebook business page is better than a Facebook profile?

  • Level of privacy

The level of privacy as a Facebook business page is different from a Facebook profile. A business page is an open group to all kinds of people, but your profile has limited people as friends. Hence, you would enjoy engagements as a business page and not a personal profile.

  • The Newsfeed

Running a business page will determine the type of content you have on your newsfeed. Also, it will determine how you would appear on people’s newsfeeds.

  • Be able to create awareness as a brand

Awareness is an integral part of a business as it increases sales. Rather than engaging people’s posts as an individual, you should do with your business page. In turn, people would relate to you like a business page and would be interested in what services you provide.

  • The benefit of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

SEO helps people to easily find your brand when they require quality service. Using your business page will help you rank better such that google will suggest your brand anytime anyone searches for a brand that may be providing the services you want.

  • Advertisement and promotions

Facebook has special ads and promotions for business pages, but you may not be able to use these opportunities as an individual profile. Also, running ads and promotions as a business page will make people click directly on the page rather than use a redirected link from an individual’s name.

  • Unique brand name

There is someone who bears one or two of your names on the internet. Facebook, as an example, may have other users who share your name. However, the chances are slimmer with a business page as your brand name would be unique. Also, once it is the registered name for your business, there is no cause for alarm.

Conclusion

Sometimes, it is not about doing a task but doing it the right way. If you are going to use Facebook as a marketplace for your business, then you should use it as a Business page and not an individual profile.
