Give Some, Take Some – What Drives Givers And Takers To Do What They Love To Do

Taking is normal and effortless. Giving is demanding and challenging. That’s the universal truth and applies to people across the globe. Yet, there are exceptions. Some people believe that if they don’t give, everything they have will be taken away. Don’t we know how karma operates? That’s right. The fear of karma is what makes some scum buckets focus more on giving than on taking.

So is it better to take or to give? Different people have a different opinion on this except the scumbuckets for whom it is always take and never give.

Give and take also depends on the circumstances. If you are blessed with abundance all the good things of life, you will be a natural giver. If you are not, you might not be able to give even if you have the best of intentions.

Influence of Friends

According to Christopher Rapp, the direction our life takes depends to a large extent on our friends and associates. It also influences the way we interact with each other. However, when friendships and associations happen, we are not sure which direction they will take. Along the way, we will gradually discover who the givers are and who the takers are. You can gradually filter the takers and make your association with the givers more strong.

It is seen that takers are more like scum bucket guys. They like to keep receiving things all the time. They always put their own needs and interests ahead of others. They believe in the dog-eat-dog philosophy. With their focus on winning and not being willing to let go under any circumstances, they often go beyond the limits of morality and wade into the world of cunning and dishonesty.

Scumbucket guys are generally incompetent, but they keep promoting themselves and grab credit for everything, even if they have nothing to do with that even remotely. Whether it is in the workplace or a social event, they want to grab attention.

What Differs Givers and Takers

It is apparent that givers and takers vastly differ in their treatment of people. Bad guys are not averse to giving. They do give but strategically. They make sure the benefits to them far outweigh their personal costs. Givers have a different approach. Their minds don’t even wander towards personal expenses or benefits. They give because they want others to benefit. They don’t ever think about their own interest. Givers are naturally generous people. They put in their effort, time, energy, network, and money to ensure others benefit from them.

A giver doesn’t see giving as a great act of charity. They see it as helping a fellow being in need. Scum buckets, on the other hand, when they give, do it with a lot of sound and noise. They want the whole world to know and notice their action.

Even if they are not in a position to give, those who love to help others will always find a way of achieving their intentions. Another important to note – givers love to be among people. They work as a team. Takers are generally lone rangers.
