The Encounter with Your One and Only Twin Flame

I have heard about this for long enough, not believing it could happen to me, so I put it aside. After not finding a great match for so many years… Seeing the struggles of relationships nowadays, I thought meeting a twin flame connection was only the privilege of a very few, and maybe not even for them, as it can be a very challenging bond. It is too early to say if I met this person recently, or not, but the signs already show there’s a lot of learning here. Fasten seatbelts!!

Not everyone has a twin flame, or it is believed that they don’t always have the chance to meet. They could have other, more important lessons. For others, the encounter is inevitable. This can be one of those encounters out of the blue when you don’t expect a meeting at all. You could feel a heightened sense of energy, as your souls feel like merging and you can sense the other person. You just feel where they are, and how they are. You will see things through new lenses, and this person’s presence will push your limits to become a better person.

When having such a heightened state of united energies, both parties can experience a higher version of themselves, and a love connection different from any other. When you are with your twin flame, you are confronted by your weaknesses which can feel very uncomfortable, but it is to serve the bigger picture. • When your relationship is new, it can feel purposeful, powerful, and energize you a lot. The arising challenges and how you two deal with them can change the course of the positive beginning.
• The challenges can signal the need to further work on individual hardships, to make the relationship work. It is usually individual soul work to be able to create a better connection.
• Due to your differences, all your insecurities can emerge, testing both of you, if you can keep going together. At this point, one person could avoid the other or leave, while the other could have insecure feelings about the relationship. These could happen because of our different attachment styles and the problems stemming from them.
• In twin flame connections, one party usually pulls away, causing separation.

It can have a weird feeling that you are brought together for a higher reason than just the two of you, and it can create a very intimate bond between you. Your twin flame will always push you to do better, and you have common goals to help each other’s advancement. 

As opposed to soul mates, or life partners, twin flames will force us to deal with our unresolved difficulties. Many times due to the intense nature of the connection, twin flames cannot stay together for long. If this is the case, they will only stay for a certain period to help you achieve a goal, which through you can both develop. It can be extremely challenging to keep navigating such a connection. Therefore, you must be prepared to let them go. 

If you meet your twin flame, you shouldn’t assume the connection is for life. Perhaps you only met to help each other at a crucial time. Of course, when the relationship ends, it can be quite painful due to its intensity.
