A Look Zed Run Nftlorenz New, a Digital Horse Racing Platform Where Users Breed, Race, and Trade Nft Horses, With Some Digital Steeds and Stables Selling for Six Figures

Look Zed Run Nftlorenz New: On the heels of a successful debut of ZR, a digital horse racing platform that went live on Steemit in March 2018, Zed Run announced Wednesday their plans to launch the beta on their own blockchain.

This announcement comes as Zed Run goes live with another race and auction using NFTs. The inaugural “ZRF Double Dash” was held yesterday and is the first ever offered on the new blockchain.

Zed Run’s most prominent users, which include @steemitblog, have reportedly sold off their steeds and stables in the 2D platform for six figure sums of crypto.

The opportunity was created through a partnership between Zed Run and a New York based company called Bigwood Group that serves as the global distributor of the first ever horse ever to be tokenized: Secretariat.

“For thousands of years, people have looked at horses as symbols of beauty and power. It’s only been in the last 50 years where these animals have started to be used for something more,” said Nick Tomaino, CEO of Bigwood Group. “We’ve seen this happen with ZR. We are trying to capture the same thing for horses and we believe that horses will be an important part of this new digital economy.”

The partnership has allowed those who own Secretariat’s token to now gain access to its steeds which can fetch $100,000 on auction. Tomaino has a plan to allow this type of access for other digital horses.

“I want to offer NFT-based horses to everyone who wants one,” he commented. “I am also working with an agency that will help us get these digital horses on TV.”

Auction winner, @fernando-carlos-santos, not only purchased his own steed but was also given three others in the deal. According to Tomaino, two of these were Secretariat’s descendants.

“I am very happy about this partnership because it is a great way to tell the world that we don’t only have one horse but several,” he said. “I was planning to buy a steed before the auction, so this worked out really well.”

Yesterday’s auction was also the first time @steemitblog has sold a steed since joining Zed Run with his custom 11 character-long name including his Steemit username. He did so to put a stake in the race, and other users have since followed suit.

Zed Run is a digital horse racing platform where users can buy and sell horses and stables with NFTs, breed them with each other, or use them as avatars in the marketplace. According to @steemitblog the platform is surprisingly similar to Second Life with an option to earn NFTs through gambling and re-selling premium items.

“Personally, I bought my steed for $25 and am hoping to sell it for a profit,” @steemitblog told me. “It’s also on sale again today with a 100% discount so I will probably pick it up then.”

Matthew Mesnard, CEO of Zed Run, said he hopes this will be the beginning of a wave of digital horse racing on the blockchain moving forward. His company recently released details on their new blockchain platform.

“We are looking to get more horses on the blockchain and we’re also working on an auction platform that will let anyone buy and sell any NFT item in the world,” Mesnard told Steemit . “This is just the beginning of digital horse racing and it is all thanks to Asset-backed tokens.”

Mesnard said that while Zed Run is still in beta, those interested in buying NFT horses can do so through a presale currently underway.
