3. Focus on priorities
As a high-effort leader, it’s easy for things like meetings and emails to take over your day. 6. Let them shine
High-effort leaders often feel like they have to prove themselves constantly by working harder than anyone else on the team. This can lead to burnout and resentment among their peers — especially if they’re not getting promoted or receiving recognition for all of their hard work.
