3 Ways to Solve Pain Naturally

Whenever people experience pain like backaches, toothaches, or any other type, the first thing that comes into their mind is to go to their medicine cabinet to take some pills. Unfortunately,  most of these come with side effects like addiction or drug tolerance.

If you are mindful of these when taking medication, you should probably opt for natural painkillers instead, like the three below.

Drinking Anti-Inflammatory Drinks Everyday

Regularly consuming anti-inflammatory foods will not only provide pain relief. But will also provide you with antioxidants and anti-cancer agents. As these build up in your blood over some time, the inflammatory reactions in your body also reduce.

That said, below are some of the healthy drinks you can regularly consume to relieve your pain.

Turmeric Milk

Turmeric is an Asian spice that contains anti-inflammatory and anti-arthritic properties. One way for you to easily consume this spice is to mix it with milk. Half a teaspoon of turmeric should be enough for one glass of milk. If you prefer something sweet, you can add stevia or honey too.

It would be best to consume this drink right before you go to bed so your body can process the anti-inflammatory agents while you sleep.

Unfortunately,  dairy products can sometimes be the cause of inflammation for some people. And if you are one of them, you should consume plant-based milk like almond milk instead.

Tart Cherry Juice

Cherries are full of anti-inflammatory agents and antioxidants, which can help relieve exercise-induced or chronic muscle pain. The best thing about this is that cherry juice is readily available in grocery stores, with most containing a tart cherry extract.

Ginger Green Tea

Another good option for you to try is infused-herbal drinks like ginger green tea. This product has pain-relieving qualities and is also readily available in grocery stores.

Using CBD oil products

CBD can come from a variety of cannabis plants like hemp and marijuana. But most products come from industrial hemp, which typically contains more CBC than marijuana.

You might be thinking, “Wouldn’t this get me high?” And the short answer is no. CBD is entirely different from THC, so it does not make you high.

Today, you can find CBD oil products like Epidiolex and hemp pain relief creams for sale in the market.

CBD is one of the best natural products for pain relief because of its anti-inflammatory properties. In a 2016 study by the European Journal of Pain, researchers observed a significant drop in pain and inflammation in rats with arthritis when they applied a topical gel containing CBD to them in 4 days.

In a separate study by the Journal of Experimental Medicine, research suggested that CBD can reduce pain and inflammation without building tolerance. So an increase in dosage will not be needed over time.

Fall Asleep Faster and Longer

A good night’s sleep can have restorative healing benefits to your body by making you feel refreshed and rejuvenated. If you are having trouble sleeping, below are natural sleep aids you can use:

Vitamin C and B6

Natural steroids control your body’s metabolism and promote sleep, and vitamin C and B6 help your body produce and regulate these.

Melatonin

Melatonin is a natural sleep hormone that you can take as a supplement.

L-theanine

L-theanine is an amino acid found in tea leaves that may help you fall asleep faster and longer.

Valerian

Just like L-theanine, the roots of the valerian plant may also help you fall asleep faster and longer.

Conclusion

Finding the best medication for your pain can be a process of trial and error. So it would be best to try exploring other methods. Who knows, maybe natural remedies are all you need to make the pain go away.
